Workbench & Lights

Today I did a little work to our hangar/shop. Whenever I built the workbenches we are going to use (2-3 years ago) I didn't think that they would be used to build airplanes on. So, consequently they are not perfectly level. I needed to fix this so I put some leveling feet on them. I think this will work great. Pics to come.

The shop was also in need of lighting so we got it lit up with 6 T12 fixtures that I took from work. I like free stuff.

Links List

Hey guys.....Added a links list. One reason for this was a comment on this blog that I received. Mike Pierzina informed me of his BC forum on Yahoo. I was unaware of his site. There are now 2 BC Yahoo forum groups. I would like to see all BC builders use 1 site. Lets get all our minds together, and share as much info as possible.

Hit Counter

Been playing around with the site........added a hit counter. Don't mind the link below the hit counter. It is part of the code for the hit counter. I would remove it, but it is the reason why the counter is free.

A little background

Here is a pic of our current ride. This is the plane that I got my private in. Found it tied down on the tarmac at the Neosho, MO airport. The paint on it was in real bad shape, so we decided to strip and polish it. Its a lot of work but looks good. We get a lot of people looking at it at fly-ins.

Another reason for building the BC is that my Dad decided not to renew his medical. Our BC will fall within the limitations of the Sport Plane rules.

BC Video

Here is a video of the 2nd BC built. Pretty cool.

Getting Started

First things first, we spent the last few evenings preparing the hangar with new lights. It will be good to see in that dark hanger. I will probably get the work bench setup to weld the fuselage this weekend. Pics to come.

Hi EAA People

Hi all....This is my first attempt at a BLOG. I would like to use it for our FAA build log.

Last Christmas my family purchased Wittman Buttercup plans for the Ol'Man. He was surprised! It has been a dream of his to build an airplane since he was in his 20's. He is now 57. I will try to help him with this dream.
